With its 11° x 18° antenna it is designed for overhead or sidefire mounting, projecting an elliptic radar spot on the lane, the flexible choice where mounting positions vary.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn tracking mode the detector delivers speed values and sets the signal outputs (relay or 3 optocouplers) according to programmed thresholds. In counting mode, at a typical measurement angle of 45°, it delivers the vehicle speed at beam entrance and the profile value and net time gap at beam exit, while the 3 optocouplers indicate object detected, speed threshold exceeded and profile value exceeded.
