The intelligent truck docking aid for loading ramps. Working around loading ramps, dock levellers, and docking stations is one of the most hazardous zones in warehouse logistics — and most of the damage happens in the final few centimetres of reversing. The Docking Pilot Set with Sensor gives drivers a clear red–yellow–green LED signal and brings every truck to a standstill at exactly the right point. How it works. The mounted ultrasonic sensor continuously measures the vehicle-to-ramp distance, down to the centimetre. A connected LED driver traffic light (sold separately) shows green while the driver may approach, yellow on final approach, and red at the optimal docking position. After loading or unloading, a single button-press on the control unit flashes the light green to release the truck — eliminating premature roll-outs that can cause serious accidents and costly damage. Integration you can build on. Three freely configurable relay outputs drive gate openers, mechanical or inflatable door-seal systems, ramp and loading-area lighting, or a staff signal — switched automatically the moment the docking position is reached. A 24 V DC output feeds an optional personnel traffic light for your warehouse crew. Three freely configurable control inputs allow permanent-red while the gate is open, remote departure release via an external button, and any custom logic your site needs. All parameters — stop distances, yellow-to-red thresholds, operating language (DE · EN · FR · ES), idle-time schedules — are entered on the keypad and shown live on the backlit 2 × 16-character LCD alongside the current vehicle distance. Set contents. One Docking Pilot control unit (IP 65, ABS housing, 100–240 V AC, 160 × 160 × 90 mm) and one ultrasonic sensor unit (IP 65, –20 °C to +65 °C, 135 × 60 × 35 mm, mounting bracket and connection cable included). To complete the installation you will also need: one LED driver traffic light (Ø 100 mm for light-duty sites, Ø 200 mm for road-traffic visibility). Optional: a Ø 50 mm personnel traffic light for the loading-dock staff. Add these as separate line items in your request basket.
