RAV overheight vehicle detection system, fixed installation, complete

Complete fixed RAV system for protecting an underpass, tunnel, overpass or entrance against overheight vehicles. A single roadside laser scanner detects any vehicle exceeding the set height and the control unit immediately activates the LED message panel, flashers and red traffic light ahead of the structure. The set contains everything needed for one approach; add a second scanner and further lights for a second direction.

Options

The control unit can drive up to 2 message panels, 8 Basic 201 flashers (or 4 Basic 304) and 16 Ø200 mm traffic lights, so the set can be extended with additional lights, a second scanner for the opposite direction, or the larger Basic 304 flashers and Ø300 mm traffic light for high-speed approaches. Ø60 mm and Ø90 mm pole brackets are available instead of the band-it bracket.

Underpasses, tunnels, overpasses, car park and depot entrances and any other structure where exceeding the maximum height is a hazard.
