viafalcon BASIC radar detector
The viafalcon BASIC is a microprocessor-controlled radar detector for movement and speed detection applications at long distance range. It detects approaching and/or leaving vehicles and pedestrians (detection direction adjustable) within a narrow detection zone defined by its 12° x 17° antenna beam — reaching cars at up to 250 m.
If the adjustable speed threshold is exceeded, the detector sets its signal output (relay) for an adjustable hold time — the classic trigger for speed warning signs and speed-activated variable message signs. Parameters are set via the serial RS232 interface or manually through switches, and the detection sensitivity is adjustable in 5 steps.
