The viasis BASIC-D combines the proven simplicity of the viasis BASIC with data collection and a visual warning function. It measures the speed of approaching vehicles and shows it on a bright 2-digit LED display, and when the speed limit is exceeded, the display changes colour from yellow to red to catch the driver's attention.

The light aluminium casing and its robust carrying handle make transportation and installation a breeze, making the BASIC-D ideal for mobile use within city limits. At the same time, the integrated data storage records the measured traffic, giving municipalities documented evidence of speed behaviour at each deployment site.
